It is important that during the flushing period the operator must closely monitor the temperature of the engine, as any historical scale that is removed from the engine can be deposited in the radiator tubes and other engine cooling components. In a highly scaled engine, it may be necessary to repeat the FLUSH Premix procedure to ensure all scale deposits are completely removed from the system. This cleaning procedure will also assist with avoiding any further fouling of radiators and engine coolers, which will in turn assist with avoiding the engines overheating.

FLUSH Premix is compatible with both ENVIROLife Heavy Duty Engine Coolant and other proprietary engine coolants. It is non-toxic, readily biodegradable, nitrite, amine and phosphate (NAP) free, and contains a mixture of highly efficient organic corrosion inhibitors and dispersant/detergent agents that will remove mineral scale and oxide deposits. FLUSH Premix can be used for up to 30 days in the cooling system without damaging the cooling system components, following which it must be drained out and the cooling system thoroughly flushed and rinsed out with clean and fresh water.

FLUSH Premix is classified as NON-HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE according to the criteria of Safe Work Australia (formerly NOHSC), as a NON-HAZARDOUS CHEMICAL in accordance with the WHS, and as NON-DANGEROUS GOODS according to the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code.
